On Tuesday 1 April at around 12:15 pm, a man went into the Santander bank in Market Place and queued at the cash desk.

He then handed over a note to the cashier demanding money, saying he had a gun in his bag.

The cashier pressed the emergency button, which closed the desk shutters and he left empty handed.

He's described as white, aged 40-50, with a stocky build and short, thin grey hair. He had a fresh scar above his left eye and was wearing blue jeans, a dark green jacket and a polo shirt in a lighter green. He was carrying a blue and white holdall.
