Child Scares Off Attempted Car Thieves

Police are looking for two men that tried to seal a car in Northampton while there was a child inside.

The car was parked outside Barclays Bank on Weedon Road just after 9pm on Sunday night when the men tried to get in.

A child sat on the passenger seat shouted for help.

The men then made off on push bikes towards Sixfields.

Police are asking for anyone who saw the men to contact them.
