Police Name Crash Victim

Police are now in a position to name the man who died at the scene of a road traffic collision which took place on the A45 on Tuesday 10 May at 2.40am.

He is 29-year-old Graham Stickland of Rushden.
 
The collision took place when a green Renault Scenic which was travelling eastbound on the A45 near Wellingborough lost control, leaving the A45 down the embankment onto the slip road with Turnmills Lane, colliding with a street lamp.

Mr Stickland was a passenger in the vehicle. The 36-year-old driver is being treated for serious injuries at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
 
Anyone who was in the area at the time or witnessed the collision is asked to contact the police.
