Corby Boy Badly Hurt After Walking In Front Of BMW

A young boy was left with serious injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car in Corby.

The 9 year-old was in Willowbrook Road, Corby, at about 7.20pm on Friday, February 14 when, he went onto the road and into the path of a black BMW.

Northamptonshire Police have told Heart they don't know at this stage why the boy went into the road.
 
The youngster suffered serious injuries to his head, pelvis and leg and was taken to Kettering General Hospital. He was later transferred to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for treatment.
 
The driver of the BMW was treated for shock at the scene .
