Corby: Police Look For VW After Hit And Run

Northamptonshire Police are searching for the black VW Golf involved in a collision with a toddler in Corby, but which failed to stop afterwards.

The driver failed to remain at the scene of the collision, at around 2.50pm on the Oakley Road pedestrian crossing outside Lidl store.

The vehicle's described as a black Volkswagen Golf registration V154 EJM.

The 3 year-old boy was taken to Kettering General Hospital with minor injuries.

A Corby man, aged in his twenties, has been arrested in connection with this incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Police are keen to speak to witnesses to this collision and also want to establish the whereabouts of the Golf.
