Homophobic Attack

A 20 year old man from Milton Keynes has been beaten up by three men in Northampton who had questioned his sexuality.

The man was walking from the railway station along Black Lion Hill towards the BP filling station at Wesbridge when he was punched and kicked in the head.

Northants police say the attack which happened between 11pm and 11.30pm last Thursday night, is being treated as a homophobic assault.

The victim required treatment at Northampton General Hospital for facial cuts and bruises.

The first attacker was white, 6ft tall of heavy build and aged in his early twenties with a skinhead haircut. He was wearing a grey cardigan which had thin red stripes.

The second was white, 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build and aged in his late teens with spiked blond hair. He was wearing a light-coloured top.

The third was white, 6ft 1ins tall, of medium build and aged in his early twenties. He was wearing a dark grey jumper and light-coloured trousers.
