Man Charged After Two Die In Crash

A 42 year old man has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal road traffic collision that took place on Tuesday evening.

The collision took place at around 8.20pm on the A43 between Duddington and Corby and involved a silver Mazda 5 and white DAF truck.

The 42-year-old man who has been charged was the driver of the Mazda.

He has also been charged with causing death whilst disqualified and causing death while uninsured.

The 22-year-old woman who was seriously injured in the collision remains at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, where she remains in a serious condition.

The little boy that was injured in the collision also remains in a serious condition after suffering life changing injuries and is being treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
