With one month to go until this year's Invictus games in Canada, Heart's been speaking to one of its athletes from Northampton.

With one month to go until this year's Invictus games in Canada, Heart's been speaking to one of its athletes from Northampton.

Jamie Weller is competing in the cycle and track events and has battled sight loss, anxiety and depression:

"This is the first time I have competed in the Invictus games, it's great to really show the world what me as a disabled person, and the guys that are competing. can do."

The games, created by Prince Harry, sees wounded and injured armed services personnel compete in a variety of sports.

Veteran Royal Navy engineer Jamie says the games have pulled him through some hard times:

"Iv'e been in some pretty dark places, but the Invictus games has really given me that pathway, that journey to help me in terms of my recovery."
