Teenager assaulted

Police in Corby are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place in Gainsborough Road, in the town yesterday (Monday).

Sometime between 11am and 11.15am, a 15-year-old boy was walking along the road when he was approached from behind and kicked in the leg, punched in the head and pulled to the ground.
He managed to get away from the offender and was left with minor injuries.
The offender was a white teenage boy, aged around 15 to 16-years-old, around 5ft9" tall and of slim build, had a pale complexion and wore a black hooded top with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
