Heart Apprentice Campaign Backed By Chancellor

2 February 2015, 06:00

Heart's teamed up with the North East Chamber of Commerce and National Apprenticeship Service to get more people in our region into apprenticeships.

The 'Greater Together' campaign saw more than 2,000 people here get into an apprenticeship last year.

2015's campaign has had the backing of the Chancellor George Osborne.

Today marks the launch of a new initiative supported by a unique partnership between the National Apprenticeship Service and 35 training organisations from across the region.

The Greater Together campaign encourages as many employers as possible to commit to an apprenticeship between the 2nd of February and 27th of March 2015.

If you are an employer and want to get involved in this year's initiative, you can follow the campaign on Twitter @BeGreatTogether where you will find more information, or you can visit their website
