Two Arrests Over John Roberts Murder

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of John 'The Badge' Roberts.

The 32-year-old was found dead inside his house in Winlaton, Gateshead, on Sunday, December 16, 2012.

He was a Newcastle United fan and used to sell pin badges close to St James' Park on match days.

Northumbria Police have confirmed that two men, aged 42 and 45 years, have been arrested today on suspicion of murder.

They are currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.
