Help for Addicts Families

Open Minds in Wrexham is running a number of seminars for relatives, as they claim research shows if partners and children seek help the addict will too.

The programme offers people a better understanding of what their relatives are going through as they are treated for everything from Alcoholism to drug problems.

Heart News has been speaking to Ian and Alison from Cheshire. Alison admitted to drinking for 11 years 24 / 7 before she sought help. She says it was like 'living in a black hole'

Her huband Ian has revealed now they've both visited the charity it's like 'having his wife back'

Manchester Arena Bomb Mental Health Unit For Bombing Victims

The Manchester Resilience Hub will be focused on helping people directly affected by the terror attack such as those at the Ariana Grande concert, immediate family members and emergency responders.
