A teenager from Merseyside has died after apparently taking an Ecstasy-type tablet.
Police investigating the death of a Liverpool teenager thought to have taken an Ecstasy-type tablet have arrested a second person.
The 19 year old from the Litherland area is being questioned on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
18-year-old Sophie Leigh Balmer from Walton died in hospital on Sunday.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death.
An 18-year-old man, also from Litherland arrested, arrested last night (Monday, 16 September) has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
