Salford Family Threatened

Four armed men who were carrying knives and machetes have threatened a Salford family in their home and stolen Asian gold jewellery.

The break in happened at around 1am the four men wearing masks forced their way into a house on St Brelades Drive by smashing the patio door. They threatened those inside the house demanding gold and cash.

They grabbed a necklace from the woman’s neck and took three mobile phones and some Asian gold jewellery before fleeing in the family car, a black Honda Civic.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses.

Detective Sergeant Julie Connor has told Heart 'While no one was hurt the four men threatened violence in the presence of three young children who were clearly terrified by their ordeal.

“I would ask if anyone has any information about who is responsible or who has seen a black Honda Civic abandoned in the area to call police'
