Strike Action North West and North Wales!

Everyone from Dinner Ladies to Binmen and teachers are downing tools to let the government know they don't agree with the changes they're making.

Schools are shut and hospitals are on a reduced service as public sector workers staged rallies across the North West and North Wales.

Heart News can tell you thousands of people have turned out for the demonstration in Liverpool at the Pier Head. Protestors will travel through the city to St George's Plateau.

Crowds have gathered up and down the region including workers in Birkenhead, Wrexham, Chester and Bangor.
