Wrexham teenager injured in Alps crash

Catrin Pugh, 19, is one of three British people being treated in hospital.

The foreign office have confirmed to Heart that the teenager is being treated for seriously injuries after a coach crash in the Alpe d'Huez area of the French Alps.

Maurice Wrightson, 64, was driving more than 50 people on their way back to the UK when the coach left the road, smashing into rocks and bursting into flames on Tuesday 16th April.

French police say they suspect there was a problem with the vehicle's brakes.

Friends of Catrin have been sending messages of support through Twitter, with tweets like: "Thinking about you each minute of each day, stay strong x",

Another says: "Just want to wake up and for this to be a horrible nightmare", and one friend simply posts: "Praying"
