Go Sky High With Blackpool Airshow

Join us at the Blackpool Airshow on Sunday 10 and Monday 11 Aug for high flying fun and the chance to win a Heli-Experience!

The expanses of Blackpool sands and the iconic Tower make a perfect backdrop for the Blackpool Airshow, which returns to the town bigger and better this year on Sunday 10 and Monday 11 August.

The FREE event runs each day from 2 to 4.30pm with most of the action taking place between the North and Central Pier.

The famous Red Arrows will open the show on Sunday at 1pm with a breathtaking aerobatic display and then the exciting action in the air continues over the two days with a military and civilian aircraft, wing walkers and historic planes including the stirring Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

There's loads going on on the ground too, take a look at the Lytham Spitfire and the kids will love Disney Planes2 and the interactive games plus there's stalls from the Friends of the Red Arrows, and charities including the Royal British Legion, Blackpool Carers Centre and Foster Carers Ltd.

Win a Heli-Experience over Blackpool!

Make sure you catch up with the Heart Angels as they will be joining in the fun at the airshow on both days. Come and take them on at Giant Jenga or Connect 4, take a seat in the Heart Al Fresco Zone and make sure you enter their great sky high competition. 

They have a fantastic Heli-Experience over Blackpool for up to three people to be won. Following coffee or even a glass of champagne, you'll be briefed about the flight and then it's onboard for just under an hour of heli-excitement!

You'll get a seagull's view of the Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach and Golden Mile before flying out over Fleetwood, then around the Fylde Peninsula before heading to Garstang, Longridge and around Preston before returning to Blackpool via the south shore of the Ribble Estuary.
