Gerrards Confectioners are a family Craft Bakery, established for over 170 years and now being run by the 6th generation of the family.
Mary Gerrard founded the Bakery in 1838. They still bake with classic British Recipes, together with original country recipes passed down for generations. Our products are all hand made by craft bakers using the finest natural fresh ingredients to preserve the authentic flavours of home baking.
Our bread is hand crafted daily, with all our white loaves made using the ‘Sponge and Dough’ method. We take the extra time to make sure our bread tastes like bread. We don’t add strange stuff to make it last as long as a supermarket loaf and local suppliers are used wherever possible
They only use the finest quality ingredients in everything they make ~ you can taste the difference!
