After months of training for the marathon I did it! I finished in 5hrs 8mins – no threat to the podium, but having been unable to run even a yard only 5 weeks ago through injury, I’m pretty happy today.

Just over 5 weeks to go until the London Marathon. I’m now at the point where it’s scarily obvious that in the real world I’m not actually cut out for running.
You know, I never cease to count my blessings in having the opportunity to play records and talk a bit of nonsense for a living.
You see, this will be my 3rd Marathon. To do it once is brave. To do it twice is careless. To do it a third time… well that’s just certifiable.
