Lottery and lasers

So, did you get 23 of your friends and family round at the weekend to do the Lottery, "Derren Brown" style?

Me neither. I was actually quite disappointed with his so called explanation on Friday's TV show. Clever guy, great actor, but what a load of old nonsense that "solution" was. Waste of an hour.

Hey, you know I was blogging recently about having laser eye surgery to correct my short-sightedness, well, I just booked a date for it. End of October. Taking the plunge.

Still nervous about it, especially as every time I speak to someone about it, they invariably all say the same thing. "Apparently you can smell you eyes burning when you have it done."  Yea, thanks for that!

But also, when I last blogged about it, got lots of people saying it was the best thing they've ever done. It's going to be a bit uncomfortable for a couple of days, and I can't go to the gym for a week, but otherwise it sounds kind of straight forward. Only one minute per eye! That is amazing when you think about it. Major corrective surgery in such a miniscule amount of time.

Some great offers on though. "Buy one, get one free" is the latest one that made me laugh when I read it. It's an eye for god's sake, not a meal deal!
