'Cold Feet' and 'Friends' actress Helen Baxendale has been in Oxford for the premiere of a comedy film she's produced with her husband.

'Beyond The Pole' is billed as the world's first global warming comedy.  It was premiered in Oxford at the Phoenix Picture House in Jericho on the evening of Thursday 15 April 2010.

The movie features Stephen Mangan, famous for his roles in the comedy 'Green Wing' and the 2001 TV adaptation of 'Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years', and Rhys Thomas, from 'The Fast Show'.

Helen played Ross's second wife Emily in 'Friends' and Rachel in the hugely popular ITV1 drama 'Cold Feet'.  She is the film's executive producer and she's also in the cast.  Her husband David L Williams - who used to go to Oxford's Cherwell School - is the film's director and producer.

The premiere was in aid of the Oxfordshire Community Foundation, which helps local voluntary and non-profit groups throughout the county.  Since 1995, the Foundation has donated £2.5m to a total of 750 local organisations.
