Troops come home

Sixty soldiers from the Thames Valley have been reunited with their families after a six month tour of Afghanistan.

Officers and soldiers from 12 Logistic Support Regiment Royal Logistic Corps returned to their home base at Dalton Barracks in Abingdon, Oxfordshire on Tuesday 28 September 2010.

The soldiers, who are the logistic support specialists to 4th Mechanized Brigade, arrived at RAF Brize Norton and were then transported to their home base.
