Police have released this CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to over the robbery at Tote Sport on Broadway last Wednesday (February 3).
A man threatened staff with what is believed to have been a black handgun around 10.20am.
Four customers were in the shop at the time. The robber pointed the gun at the face of a member of staff and climbed onto the counter, over the four foot high protective screen. He pulled the staff member to the floor and knelt on her chest, after threatening to shoot her.
The robber stole several hundred pounds in cash from a safe before taking the float under the cashier's desk. In total, he is believed to have taken between £500 and £1,000.
He ran out of the shop down Broadway and towards Westgate - it is thought he ran through Westgate Arcade.
There is a £10,000 reward for information which leads to his capture.
Anyone with information is asked to contact DS Mark Smith at Thorpe Wood Police Station on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
