Detective Inspector Martin Brunning said: "We are very concerned about Vitalija and are keen to speak to anyone who saw her on Friday morning, or had contact with her in the week leading up to her disappearance.

"In particular we want to hear from people who were in the area of Burmer Road and Thistlemoor Road between 5am and 7am on Friday.

"We want to hear from anyone who had contact with her, any information no matter how small could be vital in finding out what has happened to her."

Vitalija was due to walk down Lincoln Road to an employment agency in Geneva Street, however she did not arrive.

She is described as white, blonde, five foot and slim. It is believed she was wearing light blue three-quarter length light blue jeans, a blue denim jacket, light plimsoll trainers. She was also carrying a distinctive coloured bag.

Detective Inspector Brunning said: "The bag is brightly coloured and very distinctive. From a distance it looks like a butterfly pattern.

"We are keen to speak to anyone who has seen that bag or found it in a garden since Friday."

Anyone with any information should call DI Brunning on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
