Michael Green Murder Update - Fifth Man Charged

A fifth person is due to appear in court today (Monday) charged in connection with the murder of Michael Green in Bretton last week.

Michael Green's body was discovered in an underpass near Tyesdale, Bretton, in the early hours of last Wednesday.

A post mortem found the 23 year-old, of Muskham, Bretton, died from head injuries consistent with an assault.

Yesterday (Sunday) Joshua Gibson of Swale Avenue, Peterborough, was arrested and has now been charged with assisting an offender.

The 22 year-old is due before Peterborough magistrates this morning.

Three boys, aged 15, 16 and 17, and a 16 year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on Saturday after being charged with his murder.

All four were remanded into custody to appear at Cambridge Crown Court today.
