Peterborough Armed Robbery

Staff at a Peterborough petrol station have been threatened by a man with a gun, who then escaped with cash.

It happened at the Shell garage in Paxton Road, Orton Goldhay on Sunday evening.

The robber is described as white, wearing black bike leathers, a light brown scarf around his face, black boots and a bike helmet.

DCI Jon Hutchinson, investigating, said: "This was a terrifying experience for the members of staff who were confronted by the gunman.

"I would appeal to anyone who saw the man leaving or with any information about the robbery to call police."
