Peterborough: Police Chase

A man has been arrested following a police chase through Peterborough.

Officers tried to stop a car in the centre of Peterborough just before 11am today (Tuesday).

However the car did not stop, and was pursued by Police down Lincoln Road.

The car then went through a 'No Entry' sign, and the police pursuit was ended.

According to Cambridgeshire Police the car was then seen travelling the wrong way along Bourges Boulevard.

It then crashed into another vehicle.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "No-one has been injured in the collision and the road at Rhubarb Bridge has been closed going towards Bourges Boulevard.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police, dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified.

One man is still outstanding and police are trying to trace this man."
