Long Sutton: Thieves Try To Attack Cashpoint

Police are investigating an attempted theft of an ATM in Long Sutton.

Police were called to the Co Op store on West Street, shortly before 3am on Friday morning, after residents raised the alarm.

The offenders used cutting equipment to damage the shop's shutters and attack the cash machine.

The ATM is currently being forensically examined and it is not yet clear whether any access was gained to the inside of the machine.
