Thorney: Scene Still Cordoned Off

Police investigations are continuing after two bodies were discovered in the village of Thorney, near Peterborough.

The bodies were discovered in a dyke close to the Dog In A Doublet pub.

The area remains cordoned off as police investigate.

The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained by Police.

Police are yet to release further details.

Cambridgeshire Police say offices are keeping 'an open mind' about whether the deaths are linked to the recent murder of 48 year old Kevin Lee.

Mr Lee was found dead in a ditch in Newborough on Saturday (30 March).

A post-mortem examination found Mr Lee died from stab wounds.

Five people have been arrested in connection with the murder.

One person has appeared in court charged with perverting the course of justice.
