Peterborough City Hospital will open in around three months.

It is the biggest building project in the city since the cathedral was built 800 years ago.

The NHS in Peterborough has put together a virtual tour of the new building's operating theatres, wards and main atrium.

The hospital will open to patients on the 15th November.

During November and December, all services from Peterborough District Hospital, Edith Cavell Hospital and Peterborough Maternity Unit will move to the site.

Project director Angela Broekhuizen, said:  "We are immensely proud to share the progress of such an important building project with the people of Greater Peterborough.

The virtual tour is easy to access and provides an excellent representation of the inside of the hospital."

The new City Hospital is part of a £335 million investment in healthcare services in Peterborough.
