Two Arrests After Thorney Crash

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a crash near Thorney at the weekend.

Ali Raya Haideri, who was 19 and from Peterborough, was killed in the accident on the A47 at 12:40am Saturday.

An 11 year old girl from Peterborough remains critically ill in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge after being hurt the crash.

Another person, a 19 year old woman, was left with minor injuries.

Two men, aged 19 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and have been released on bail until October.

A red Rover 25 was the only car involved in the crash.
