Two men, arrested in connection with a murder and several linked sexual assaults in Peterborough thirty one years ago, have been released on bail.

In March 1980, 22 year old Sally McGrath [pictured - right] was found dead in some woods near Peterborough.

Following a cold case review of the murder and rapes, two men were arrested by Cambridgeshire Police.

A 53 year old man, arrested in Great Yarmouth, and a 58 year old man, arrested in Hampshire, have both been released on bail pending further police inquiries.

They are due to report back to police stations in Peterborough and Huntingdon in March next year.
