Wisbech: Teenager Still Missing

24 October 2011, 09:54

Police say they are getting more concerned for the welfare of a missing Wisbech teenager.

17 year old Alisa Dmitrijeva [pictured - right], originally from Latvia, has been missing for more than seven weeks.

She was last seen after midnight in Friars Street in Kings Lynn on the 31st August, and reported missing by her family on the 6th September.

According to Police, there have been several unconfirmed sightings of her since then, however she has not been in touch with family or friends.

Alisa is described as 5'6'', with collar length dark brown hair with blonde highlights.

However her hair may now be darker with a fringe.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Tandy said: "It’s been more than seven weeks since the last confirmed sighting of Alisa and we are becoming more concerned for her welfare.

Someone knows where Alisa is and I would ask that they do the right thing and contact police or Crimestoppers anonymously.

Any information, no matter how small, could provide that vital clue in tracing her."

Officers have been putting posters up around Wisbech containing Alisa's picture and description, and have been carrying out house to house inquiries in the town.

Anyone with any information about Alisa's whereabouts is asked to call police on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
