Would You Know How to Save a Life?

2 out of 3 of us don't feel we'd be able to save someone's life in an emergency. That's according to St John Ambulance in Cambridgeshire who want more people to learn simple first aid skills.

The 5 most common problems are blood loss, chocking, heart attack, unconscious and breathing, unconscious and not breathing.

The first thing to do in an emergency is to dial 999, and East of England Ambulance service will be able to talk you through most things.

Always remember to check for dangers to yourself as well.

A free guide on what to do in an emergency is available from St John Ambulance and you can sign up to courses in Peterborough on how to keep your family safe.
