First UK camp for alopecia sufferers

A Plymouth woman who lost her hair due to alopecia has helped to organise the first UK camp for people affected by the condition.

Michelle Chapman, has been living with the condition since she was five years old, and has been campaigning on behalf of the Alopecia Awareness charity for more than 20 years now.

The Bebold camp is the first of it’s kind in the UK and is designed to bring people with the condition together.

It’s going to be held in Scarborough on July 30th, will be open to adults and children with alopecia, along with their families.
