Epic Challenge For Triple Amputee

Plymouth's Mark Ormrod takes on another epic challenge.

A former Royal marine commando severely injured by a Taliban landline is about to leave the city on another epic challenge.

This time triple amputee Mark Ormrod is taking part in the Tour De Forces challenge starting on Saturday 1st September.

It will raise money for four military charities and sets off from Plymouth for an anti-clockwise circumnavigation of Britain's coast line.

Mark and four colleagues will run, cycle and hand cycle their way around the coast.

The former Royal Marine, from Plymouth, is working for the Royal Marines Association, a charitable group where he can support former servicemen in exactly the same way he has been helped.
