Have You Got the X-Factor

The hunt for talented solo artists and vocal groups has started right here in Devon

X Factor bosses have announced plans to hold mobile van auditions - and it's first stop's Plymouth.

Open auditions ended in March but X-Factor judge Gary Barlow tells Heart: "They want to make sure they find all the talent the country has to offer."

Auditions opened at 10.30am on Millbay Road next to the Pavilions.

Marketing Officer at Plymouth Pavilions, Robert Maltby said: “We are very excited to welcome the new mobile X Factor auditions to the city and proud they have chosen Plymouth Pavilions.

"The X Factor van and its mini tent will be setting up outside our main entrance from 10.30pm.

"We must stress that this is a new type of mini audition with NO JUDGES and NO PRESENTERS and very different to what you may have seen on the TV in previous years.

"It will be just 1 camera and a chance for someone from Plymouth to be added to the list. The majority of the audition filming is complete, so it will only be those who really stand out that may get on TV.

"This event is run by the X Factor team, more information can be found on the official X Factor Facebook page or by asking a member of the X Factor team on the day”
