Lifeboat crews' lifejackets are at the end of their operational life and are being replaced with new ones.
SOS Day 2012: RNLI Need You!!
SOS Day is the RNLI's biggest annual fundraising event. This year it'll be happening on Friday 27th January.
It's our chance to show our appreciation for all the volunteers that give up their time to save lives. Last year people in the south west raised over £71,000 through SOS fundraising events, and hopefully this year we can do even better.

2011 was a busy year for the RNLI in Devon, whose volunteers run 9 lifeboat stations and patrol 16 beaches.
