Looking for a great day out with the family? Five Sisters Zoo is fun all year round with 196 species of mammals birds and reptiles from around the world, outdoor play area, daily keeper talks, handling and feed the lemurs experiences, and of course in winter, the Zoo Illuminations!
Back for 2017 in it's second year, this unique event will put a twinkle and a sparkle across the zoo throughout the evenings of November and December. Bigger and Brighter than last year, the Zoo invites you to experience it at night as you’ve never seen it before.
Thousands of lights illuminating enclosures, trees and plants will create a truly magical Christmas experience. Wander through the Lost Kingdom, spot the wolves and lions, Santa and his reindeer and enjoy the tranquillity of the Japanese Garden. This year there is also a new ice rink and festive market.
The big switch on of the illuminations will take place at 7pm on Friday 3rd November and our very own Robin Galloway will be officially turning on the lights. If you want to come along for the launch, make sure you pre-book your tickets here.
Tickets are priced at £12 per adult, £7 per child (3-15 years) and 1- 2 years £2, under 12months are free. Your ticket price includes entry to the Zoo Illuminations (which will be displayed all over the Zoo) and Lost Kingdom Reptile House, one glass of mulled wine or juice and one mince pie or sweet. Children also get one kiddie ride included in the ticket price.
The Zoo Illuminations will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights throughout November from 3rd and every night during December (except the 12th) up to and including the 23 December 2017 between 6pm and 9pm with last entry at 8:30pm. Each night will have an allocation of 1000 tickets so don't miss out.
