£10k Reward Offered Over Teen's Murder
Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information on the murder of a 17-year-old Scot in Liverpool.
Kevin Wilson was shot in the back shortly after leaving his home in Wavertree on February 7th.
He was found unconscious at the junction of Smithdown Road and Holmes Street at around 8.30pm.
Police officers tried to revive Kevin until paramedics arrived at the scene and he was taken to the Royal University Hospital but he later died of his injuries.
Kevin, who was originally from Scotland, had lived in Carlisle and North London before moving to Liverpool.
Now Crimestoppers has offered the reward of up to £10,000 for information passed to them, which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Kevin's murder.
Gary Murray, Regional Manager for Crimestoppers North East, said: "This was a callous crime that has devastated Kevin's family.
"They need answers and they need justice for Kevin and I would urge anyone who has information about this murder to contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
"There are people out there who know who is responsible for Kevin's death but may be afraid to speak out.
"By contacting Crimestoppers you will remain completely anonymous - we don't take personal details and we can't trace calls or information given online.
"By giving information you could help take the culprit or culprits off the street and potentially prevent another death. Do the right thing."
If you have any information please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through our Anonymous Online Form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
