Girl, 12, In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Car
A 12-year-old girl hit by a car in Fife is now in a critical condition in hospital.
She was struck by a silver Ford Mondeo travelling northbound on Sandy Brae, Kennoway, at around 7.15pm on Thursday.
The girl was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, where her condition is currently described as critical.
Sergeant Alastair Purvis, from the Fife divisional road policing unit, said: ''This collision has resulted in a young girl being taken to hospital with serious injuries and I'm urging anyone who was in the Sandy Brae area and has information that may be able to help our investigation to come forward.
''Likewise anyone who saw the vehicle or witnessed the collision is asked to contact police.''
The road was closed for around five hours while collision investigations were carried out.
Those with information have been urged to call 101, quoting incident 3595 of June 22, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
It's after their Champions League qualifier.
Police say he suffered a serious facial injury and was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The development will include an urban craft distillery, visitor centre, bottling plant, bar and bistro as well as the company's head office.
