24 August 2015, 08:23

Five fishermen have been rescued after their boat capsized.

The St Apollo ran aground in the Sound of Mull at around 3.30am.

The five crew men managed to escape on the vessel's life raft before it capsized and they were then found by an Oban lifeboat team and taken to shore.

No-one was hurt, Stornoway Coastguard said.

A rescue helicopter from Prestwick had been called out to the incident but was stood down when the lifeboat crew found the fishermen.
