9ft Long Snake Found

A 9ft-long pet snake which had gone missing in Dundee has been found.

The reptile, described as being "the thickness of an arm'', disappeared between 8am and 6pm in Broughty Ferry, Dundee yesterday.

Police Scotland and the Scottish SPCA were searching for the snake in the area around Portree Avenue and appeals were circulated on social media.

The animal has since been found at home.
