Holyrood has passed ''historic'' legislation that will scrap the time limit for victims of childhood abuse to sue for damages.
Appeal Issued In Historical Child Abuse Investigation
Police want to trace residents and staff at a former children's care home as part of a historical child abuse investigation.
Detectives are looking into Park Lodge Children's Care Home, which was in Calderwood Road, Glasgow, between 1979 and 1985.
An appeal has been made for anyone who either worked or lived in the home to contact officers.
Police Scotland said no further details were available at this time.
A force spokeswoman said: ''As part of enquiries into a historical child sexual abuse investigation, Police Scotland would like to speak to anyone who was either employed or was a resident within the Park Lodge Children's Care Home, Calderwood Road, Glasgow, between 1979 and 1985.
''Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Stuart Esplin, Greater Glasgow public protection unit, London Road police office via 101.''
He was discovered Thursday morning.
