Arrest Made Over Weekend Death

Police have made an arrest over the death of a man at the weekend.

Jamie Connelly, 28, died after an alleged attack in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, on Sunday.

He was found in Greenhill Road at around 8pm and taken to Victoria Infirmary but died a short time later.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and is being held in custody.

He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.
