Body Of Missing Woman Found In Glasgow River

Police have recovered a woman's body from a river in Glasgow.

She has been identified as Janet McQueen, 58, who has been missing from her home in Govanhill, Glasgow, since October 18 2016.

Police said her body was recovered from White Cart Water in Pollok Country Park at around 12.30pm on Sunday February 26.

Her relatives have been informed.

Police Scotland said there appeared to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
