17 year old Elgin Academy pupil Lilian Macdonald wrote "Never Be Alone" when her boyfriend was diagnosed with leukaemia almost a year ago.

Statistics show that when a child is diagnosed with cancer, one in three will have leukaemia whereas with adults it is the ninth most common cancer .

Lilian hopes her single will raise awareness and much needed money to find a cure. Lilian says: "In a time of heartbreak, I wanted to write a song to reassure everyone that things will be okay if we all stick together".

Available now on iTunes, all proceeds from "Never Be Alone" will go to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
