Crews Tackle Fire At Derelict School
Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a derelict school in Glasgow.
People went on social media at around 6pm on Wednesday to report a fire or explosion in the north of the city.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokeswoman, said: "We have three appliances in attendance at a disused school in the Milton area.''
Police confirmed that they had been made aware of the incident.
Katrine Armour, an eyewitness, tweeted: "Just seen terrible fire/explosion in #Glasgow. Hope everyone is ok.''
She said she was on Royston Road when she saw "a lot of smoke'' coming from the building and debris falling from the side at around 5.45pm.
It is not known if there are any casualties.
The 55-year-old died at the scene of the incident in Dryden Street at about 9.50am on Monday.
She called on both sides of the Brexit divide to treat each other with respect and stop accusations of "racism''.
Police found the body of Sharon Greenop at a house in Aldersyde Avenue, Troon, South Ayrshire, on November 10.
