Driver Dies After Car Crashes Into Wall
A man has died and two others remain in hospital after the car they were travelling in crashed into a wall in South Ayrshire.
The collision happened on the A759 near the village of Dundonald at around 5.40pm on Saturday.
Police said a silver Vauxhall Astra appeared to lose control before colliding with a wall.
The three men in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and were taken to Crosshouse Hospital.
The 32-year-old driver of the car died a short time later at the hospital, officers confirmed on Sunday.
The other two men, aged 24 and 25, remain in the care of medics at Crosshouse.
Road policing officers are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the road near Dundonald and has any information to contact them in Irvine on 101.
The 26 year old was first targeted in Briarscroft Road.
Euan Johnston was shot in his car last month.
The family of three crash victims took their case for the 59-year-old to be put on trial to the Appeal Court in Edinburgh earlier this year.
