Family Tribute To Street Attack Victim
The family of a man who died following an alleged assault have paid tribute to him.
Craig Logie was hurt in a disturbance in Friars Street, Stirling, at around 12.20am on Friday. The 36-year-old died the following day at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
His family said they have been left "devastated''.
In a statement issued via police, they said: "Craig was a much-loved husband, son, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.''
A 55-year-old man, who has not been named, suffered a serious leg injury during the incident.
Two men, aged 26 and 27, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Rory Hamilton said: "Our sincere condolences go to Craig's family and friends at this very sad time.
"Inquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this incident are still ongoing.''
The 26 year old was first targeted in Briarscroft Road.
Euan Johnston was shot in his car last month.
The family of three crash victims took their case for the 59-year-old to be put on trial to the Appeal Court in Edinburgh earlier this year.
